Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it. Dodge Viper Crashes During Street Race || ViralHog |

Not who I expected to climb out of the wreckage. Wisdom clearly is not guaranteed to come with age.
So much for his midlifecrisismobile. |

I did that with 800hp on cold tires a little more than a month ago. But I kinda know how to drive.

Yep, Vipers are so cool until you lay into them, have heard a few stories about that.

I've often heard that the viper is the type of car that will kill you if you give it the chance.

Looks expensive
My question is: if you have a Viper, why lower yourself to racing some clapped out piece of ricer shit? |

Pretty easy thing to do in a Viper. It’s not going to save you. In fact it is better if people just accept the fact it wants to kill you.

Also, this generation of Vipers were known to be lethal. I'm not sure if it was this exact one, but many of the early ones were bought back by Dodge because they were not up to safety standards and people were dieing. They were made for the track, not cruising the roads. |

I took one out that belonged to a customer of mine. He threw me the keys and said: “have fun.”
I took my colleague with me, and we went down a long dead end road. When I turned around, I jumped on it with everything it had. My colleague was desperately looking for something to grab on to in sheer panic. You know that feeling on a really fast sport bike when it feels like the bike will come out from under you? That’s what the Viper felt like. I made it halfway through second gear and chickened out. I knew it was going to get away from me. Torque steer is VERY real. |

Imagine losing a race to a piece of shit four cylinder with no hood, and wrecking your Viper too.

I rechecked that Leno vid... he was saying that hood was for a long time the most expensive single replacement part for an American car @ 24K... also was saying the first gen had not traction control or even ABS..
his is a 93.. |

lulz!
I've driven plenty of Vipers. They don't make a tire fat enough for it. One tire the width of the car..maybe. |
|
i know that street - the driver looks like an incel, what's his username here?

The one car that is very unforgiving to those who don’t know how to drive it. Think Mustang on steroids.

It does come with a warning sticker though that there's no roll bar so just don't get into an accident and you'll be fine. It looks like that street has a slight curve. Broke the rear loose with just the slightest wheel in it and he didn’t abort immediately (clutch in, brake in).
Spacoli reflexes were way too late. I’ve seen videos of Vipers being drifted, but that’s got to be in the hands of a pro. Anyone else will get bit. |

Dude was in a Viper, he already won at life! WTF was he doing racing a civic?! I pray for his sake that it was just a rental lol
