Going' Down the Road, Again.
Sequel to a classic Canadian film from the early 70's... I stumbled upon it and was very excited/interested in it as the original film, Goin' Down the Road is a classic and a favorite of mine... Fer fucks sake... what a letdown. It came off as a friggin Halmark movie of the week... The story line was corney as fuck and trying to pass off the shores lake Ontario for that of the maritime atlantic.... Pathetic. |

In 8th grade, Ghandi was the rage and they took the entire school. I suppose it was a major epic but for a kid it was WTF? Basically a 3 hour free for all and always wondered if it was more for the teachers to get out. Most just spent time gabbing, trying to sneak into different rows and tossing candy at others.
Still don’t equate it to something glorious like Lawrence of Arabia. |
