So most of the buyers for rotts and Dobermans are poors who can't save up $2k+ for a dog, and they get shittily bred dogs from other poors. Sucks because both breeds are great dogs when well bred. Depending on what you’re looking for, Dobermans are running $2,400-$3,000. And you’ll have to drive 500 miles to get it. One of our GSDs was from a breeder in MT, she was delivered via air. Poor pup did NOT care for her time on a plane, but she's grown up in to a helluva good dog. Most good purebred dogs from good working line parents that are health tested are $2k+. And it's worth it. |
