My wife, screen name martini butt, is in the hospital. She was having severe chest pain last night that went down her arm and up into her head, so we went to the ER at St. John's in Washington, Mo. After some testing they found that the sack around her heart is filled with fluid, and thought that the pressure might be causing all the pain. They kept her overnight (son and I left there at 4 this morning) to deal with it, and I just got a call that they're moving her to the ICU at the big St. John's in Creve Couer because further tests found that she has a heart murmer and "something wrong with her Aorta." I don't know the implications of all that, but any prayers or good thoughts for her would be appreciated.

Copy/Paste of my reply, because I simply can't keep writing individually on the boards I frequent: Thanks everyone, but she's gone. The liquid around her heart was blood from her Aorta leaking, and some of it was clotted. They started to do an ultrasound where they went down her esophogas(sp) to get a picture from behind the heart and her Aorta ruptured. The heart immediately stopped, and they tried everything but never could get it started again. When they called me to come in she was already dead.
