"And the word that comes to my mind?and I don’t care who doesn’t like me using it?is plantation,” Mr. Wilbon said on Monday’s show. “The players are here to serve me, and they will do what I want. No matter how much I pay them, they are not equal to me. That’s what this says to me and mine.” Now Sharpton compares Jones to Plantation owner |

I'm so sick of the slave card bullshit.
ETA Most other Americans are too. |

Jerry could always free any slave-millionaire who feels oppressed

So insulting to the memory of actual slaves. I can't believe people would make this comparison...an employee being paid anywhere from a half million a year to millions per year being told they must behave a certain way while in the company's uniform representing the company in a public facing role, and someone who was bought and sold at market and forced to work for no wage against their will for their entire lives.
Yes, those are the exact same thing Wilbon. |
Next thing on the agenda will be to take the numbers off the jersey cause it's demoralizing. LOL
Good let's get all this shit out there and see where ESPN and it's staff, the NFL and it's players all get reduced to minimum wage.
These SJW hosts they are paying are a cancer to ESPN and to sports journalism. Time to clean house.
I was listening to ESPN when that was said. I turned it off because I don't need that ridiculousness. |
I volunteer to be a slave to Jerry Jones for millions a year. I'd run routes over the middle and get destroyed every play for it too.
Ya.becausr slaves made 50 million a year.
Guys a fucking idiot |
So demanding that your employees stand and honor the national anthem/flag, which is expected and respectful anyway is akin to being a plantation slave owner? WTF is wrong with these people?

Man, I didn’t realize that slaves were paid millions of dollars to play a children’s game.

I worked with Wilbon and Kornheiser back in the 2000's.
Around the Horn was produced by the company I worked at. They are both flaming assholes. |
Jerry Jones should now be applauded for taking control back from the hired hands.

NAACP says Jones violating players civil rights

Who cares what that fat liberal fuck from Chicago has to say?
It's not like he's spouting some novel idea. Chris |

What these Neanderthals don't understand is the owners pay these players based on how much money they make from advertising, ticket sales, etc.. When people finally have enough of this crap, they stop spending their money on them. I think it is about time we stop buying stadiums and ball parks with public funds/taxes. It is a losing battle that we the taxpayers will never see again and it happens constantly. When we do this, these players will bend over backwards to get fans back and will not get paid large amounts as the owners will have to use their money to pay for stadiums.

Most of these head-concussed morons are lucky to have any job.
Assign Wilbon to cover the Camptown Races if that’s how he rolls. |
If the NFL goes through and actually stops players from kneeling...
This will be one of the first times the left have lost a battle in the culture war... Heads are going to explode and everyone is going to be racist. |
