If we're talking about ones that scared the shit out of us as kids:

https://hardtickettohomevideo.files.wordpress.com/2017/10/salems-lot-1.gif?w=463&h=378

And to a lesser extent:

https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/stephenking/images/8/89/Tumblr_nphfqkqGVF1rne776o1_500.gif/revision/latest?cb=20180413024122

Oddly enough Barlow (the head vampire dude) didn't scare me at all, probably because I'd already seen Nosferatu (which they obviously based the look of Barlow on for Salem's Lot) and Count Orlok was way, way creepier.

And, even though they're from a TV show and not a movie, these fuckers creeped me right out back then too:

Creepshow 2 "oil slick" monster.

Scared me good as a kid.

That messed me up as a kid too.  I watched it again a few years ago when I found it on Netflix.  I saw it listed and read the description, and wondered if it was what I had seen as a kid.  I watched it, and everything started coming back to me.  And it is still creepy and awesome as it was then!

“Deathdream” was a good movie from the 70’s. Guy slowly rotted throughout the flick. Well done movie.

“The Monster” from 2016 on Amazon Prime. Creature is real good.

Dang. If I hadn’t read all of the other posts I would have been 1st.

Yea the bear disturbed a 10 year old version of myself.

Hell I lived close to Oak Ridge TN, which was known for messing with shit like the bear got in and I was outdoors constantly. Didn’t go hunting for a few weeks after that movie.

I loved that movie. It was also known as “Dead of Night,” and it was directed by Bob Clark, who directed “Black Christmas,” “Porky’s,” and “A Christmas Story.”

He also directed “Baby Geniuses 2”... but we won’t talk about that.

GD is great for all sorts of things. Trannys, telling people what chili is and isn't and we all know it has beans in it. Now GD brings you childhood movie monsters. Took me a while to remember this movie. Had really bad animation. I am sure I am the only one to ever see it? All the small demons running around in this made me laugh! 1980's PG-13 horror, lulz.

A movie I saw the poster of but never got to watch was Q.  Later on I asked if it was any good, but got told no.  Later that year I got to see The Thing (John Carpenter) and lost interest.  Its never shown/showed on TV so it must have sucked.

Anyone remember the "winged devourers" from Beastmaster? I can't seem to find a good quality video, but they flew down to ambush people by wrapping their wings around the victim and quickly digesting them alive.

I fucking hated those things as a kid. A spin off movie where someone goes around exterminating those things would make me very happy.
