The only thing that rubs me wrong about the a1 and a2 is no way to side attach a sling.

I like the fixed stocks myself. I’ve reacquainted myself with the A1 stock, like the other Retro junkies with RBRD

My search for a good stock has led me to the fixed stock. The last stock I took off was a BCM, and I replaced it with a fixed stock.

Gwacs lower, AKA Cav-15 MKII

I need a sling, does LaRue or VTac make one to fit this with a QD at the rail?

A1 is my favorite stock length.

My lowly A1 with it's relatives.

I just picked up an A2 stripped upper for a new build.

I also need to build one for the Larue barrel I have sitting around too then I'm done, for a while......

ETA:  I was never cool enough for Thermolds, but I had a bunch of Orlites.

A1 stock rocks. Somebody needs to go back in time and slap the crap out of whoever wanted to change the length and made the A2.

I'm down to 2.  One is split in the back, I was going to try and dress it up to see if some epoxy might fix it.  The other feeds pretty well.

Otherwise, it's all USGI aluminum (only thing that will feed the ACR), and Pmags.

I've found I like the slightly shorter A1 fixed stocks.

GII with an A1 stock.

18" rifle with an A1 stock.

Got a couple rifles with A2 stocks that I haven't shot in a few years.  I have one A1 stock left but both of the rifles are camouflaged and I haven't been bored enough to work at trying to match the camo pattern on one of them to replace the A2 stock with that last A1 stock.

Fun shop by me has a Bushmaster XM-15 HBAR on the rack for $699.  I was tempted, but I want a govt profile barrel, hence me picking up a stripped A2 upper. I might spend a little more than $700, but it will be an A2 like I want.
