If RBG goes, yes, three. In addition, though, Thomas will probably retire soon. Could be four. If Trump gets re-elected, definitely four, and possibly 5 (Breyer).

She had colon cancer twenty years ago and then they caught the pancreatic cancer nine years ago when it was very early. Apparently she was getting CT scans because of the colon cancer and they got it way earlier than most. (Think Steve Jobs). I’d have to assume her surgery was simple and she is one of the rare few fully cured.

Her's was detected and removed as a ~1cm mass that hadn't spread at all. So, it could have been the relatively curable kind.

I'd absolutely be stunned if she resigned while she was still capable of speaking.

That was my conclusion in yesterday's thread. If she counts as excellent health (cancer cured, best doctors working on her, exercise, so maybe) statistically she's got something like a 75% chance to live to 90.

I would be delighted to be wrong. Hell, I will literally take the rest of the day off work and go straight to a bar if I hear she retired or a house fell on her.
