They thought they would lock down an acceptable GoT finale and then they'd move on to Star Wars. Instead they got fired from Star Wars and their legacy will forever be "those two hacks that ruined GoT." Hell, when you do a google image search for "bad writers" you get pictures of them.

well. i assume this series is about a bunch of folks fighting over the throne. so some of the worst characters would have been eliminated if that dragon and burnt them up. story would have been seriously weakened.

Got was a story of ice and fire. HotD is a story of piss and shit.

I thought the season finale was ok, but it's pretty typical and of the quality of the last season of GOT in terms of writing and production. House of Dragon writers are not very good IMO and the casting is mediocre and that's being generous.

The season finale episode was ok but the whole series suffers from it's poor start in the first few episodes. The original series grabbed people from the very 1st episode and each episode of the 1st season got better and better.
The first season of GOT was riveting, at least to me. I don't think people will used that word to describe HOD. In your head, name at least one bad episode in season one of GOT, now name the weak episodes of the first season of House of Dragons. The HOD list is bigger than the GOT list, IMO. I'll check out season 2, don't get me wrong. But, honestly as 1st seasons go, it wasn't that great, and of course, it's just my opinion. |
