Imagine being so indecisive, you can't pick between two non-colors, black and white. So you compromise and pick gray.
What ever happened to people liking real colors in their cars? |
I only pick the color based upon my mood at the time. That's why my truck is shit brown.
Sometimes you end up with the car you want but not your first choice in color.
Agreed.
I'm only buying cars in actual colors from now on. Current is blue. Debating between red and yellow for the next one. |
I like silver as a color. Does not retain heat in the summertime and does not shown filth as badly as dark colored cars. I wish there were more cars/trucks that came in green colors. Not the shitty florescent green, but other greens. Why is green not used more often? My car is dark red and my truck is bronze color.
When you buy used because you aren't willing to pay the premium for new, you take the best choice available. Color isn't that important.
Bullshit.
Both of our Mercedes are Silver. It's classy and classic MB. The only other acceptable color for a Mercedes is black. |
Keeping black clean is a bitch, I've sworn to go silver next time.

I've noticed that these are the color cars more likely to have there lights off during heavy rain. Shit is dangerous when they're blending in with the rain.

My Lexus is gray and blends in with 95% of the other vehicles where I used to live.
Now that I moved, I'm getting a cheaper car in a more common color which will blend in as well. Sports car? Sure, flashy. Daily driver? I've been involved in too many road rage situations to want a car that is easy to distinguish from others. |

I’m color blind and have always thought grey/silver vehicles look nice. My car is a dark grey, truck is silver. Even says it in the color description so I know it’s real and my eyes aren’t lying to me.
I base all my decisions, big and small, on what other people think or might think. Thanks OP for guiding my life.

My choice was silver or white.
Last vehicle was white. Looked awful if I didn't swing through the wash after every range trip, 2 miles of gravel road. Went silver for this one. |
My last 4 cars were either gray or silver. My next car will probably be gray or silver.

In the south and with the sun beating down on you any highly reflective color, like silver, is king unless you really enjoy the experience of driving around in a toaster oven and having your ballsack routinely seared to the car seat.

You could be right, but I’m not sure.
Not! Luftwaffe Grey for the win. |

i like silver cars, they tend to look decent dirty, black cars get too hot and both black and white cars always look dirty.

Currently I have green on black, orange on black and one completely murdered out and debadged. The only Grey cars I like are the ones that are a battleship type or concrete Grey.

At church on any given Sunday all you see are black or white vehicles. Same was true back at my old home in Louisiana. What gives?

Can't be a grayman if your driving something other than gray colored vehicle.

Quoted: Sometimes you end up with the car you want but not your first choice in color. View Quote I had a Toyota Celica in silver. I considered it sports car silver. Then my son totaled it. Bought a Ford Ranger in silver because I got a great deal on it. I loved that truck for 200K miles. Now have a Jeep Patriot in silver, because I got a great deal on it also. At this point I'm sick of silver. |

I love white and don't see myself changing - one red car was enough and unless it's a Guards Red Porsche or a Ferrari, don't plan on owning another.

Color is always better then silver. But you can at least order a dark silver or metallic etc to give it some depth.
