Some young people are declaring that to avoid having to "take a side" in the normal vs woke mob tension. Some are kids that are just too young to have a sexual identity yet but are being socially pressured into declaring one.

Why would they even want to be part of a LGBTQBBQ group.

Because being part of that group insulates them from being attacked by the woke mob.

We had the training at our department. Maybe an hour worth of garbage. Video's trying to brainwash us. Even had a video of children. No more than 10 yrs old claiming to be tranny. Their parents sitting next to them in " support". Fucking shame.
