My M9A3 is my favorite pistol.  Love that gun.

If you are concerned about muzzle velocity in a handgun, you're doing it wrong.

Once you have enough velocity to reliably expand a hollowpoint (which can be done with a 3"+ barrel), it becomes irrelevant.

In fact, chasing extreme velocity cause hollowpoints to underperform - just look at some of the 10mm loads that use normal .40S&W bullets.

Lol

.357 magnum is a really cool round and is completely different from a snub vs a lever gun

Use better bullets.

Heavy fast bullets do a lot more damage after barriers and to bone

I’m not going to carry my G43X into a known combat environment if I had the choice between it or a full size

This.

OWB a CZ75 with no problem.

Have a shoulder holster on way which will be even better.

I’ve gotten rid of all of my full size handguns except my Glock 20s.

My other carry guns are Glock 19s, 48s and 43s.

No. I like to have fun when I'm shooting. Most people that buy compact guns probably never shoot them often.

Carrying any gun bigger than a Glock 19 is unnecessary...and a hindrance to accurate shooting in the prone position around obstacles and beneath vehicles.

I am a fan of full sized service pistols, even the slightly bigger hunting, game, and offensive pistols.

But, If it’s big enough to fully grip, and 3.5 or more or so of barrel, the majority of us are not going to realize any additional benefit.

Once you go finger falling off the grip, subcompact and pocket pistol sized, that is not the case.
