WTF is a salad? Is it that shitty part of a cheeseburger?

Why would you not eat this?

I’ve tossed a few salads, is that close enough?

[#10]
Just did for lunch yesterday.

Romaine lettuce
Diced up salami
Pepperoncinis
Olives
Tomatoes
Feta cheese
Italian or Greek dressing

One of my favorite foods is actually a casear salad from scratch. So good.

Is it still a salad when 3/4s of the salad bar is on the plate?
Is it still a salad when 1 serving is over a pound?
Do taco salads count?
Never tossed a salad before though.

humans are predatory omnivores. We are made to eat both meat and vegetables. Personally, I like a porterhouse steak with potatoes, but I like a good salad to help get it through the pipes also.

No that’s disgusting.  If I want to eat blue cheese dressing I’ll dip a wing in it.

Only salad I eat is my granmas ambrosia salad. No faggy vegan crap here. My daddy used to be so proud of me when I would throw my bitch of a mas sprouts at her. He would laugh and laugh and laugh.

Yes. Sometimes if I have eaten heavy through the day I find that just a salad at night is satisfying.

Said salad does need to include protein. Oftentimes leftover chicken or steak along with hardboiled eggs and the usual salad fixings.

Sure but i don't make a habit of it.
Also salad must have meat in it,  like taco or chicken or ham.
Just lettuce and veg? No that is food for my food.

Typically, at least twice a week for dinner.  By the time I get finished putting hard boiled egg, cheese, shredded rotisserie chicken, and dressing on it, it isn’t diet friendly, but it’s the only way I can stomach raw vegetables.

Beverly Hills Cafe (Miami Lakes) makes the greatest Cobb salad extant. With chicken breast added to it, it’s a full meal unto itself.

Don’t listen to the ‘tards, salads are great!

Probably 5 out of 7 days one of my meals is salad.

We grow 100% of our own greens, year round.

Now if I could only find a way to raise my own sardines and olives to top it with...

Developed a taste for salads with the ex. If it's hot weather, I'll conjure one up for supper.  Baby spinach for a base, then cherry tomatos, apple slices, olives, chopped ham, shredded sharp cheddar, then drench in in Italian dressing.

Yes. I can fill up without a ton of calories.

I'm getting old.  Being old and fat would suck, so I'm not going to try it.

Sounds like my 2200 calorie "salads".

Ham chunks, cheddar, avocado and oil makes the rest palatable.
