For the guys saying it should have been a 17 slide on a 19 frame, I understand your reasoning as far as the 19 grip being easier to conceal and maybe they'll do that down the road. But, for those that want that now all you have to do is buy a 17 and chop the grip to 19 length. Done. You have a factory gun at your preferred grip length. But for the odd ones like myself that like the 17 length grip the 19X is an opportunity to get that with a 19 slide. We get a factory gun in a different configuration that we're interested in. I know it's not for everyone. But it's basically a glock commander variant. If I wanted that before I'd have to buy a 17 and a 19 to bubba it together. Why are any of us getting worked up over this?

I think the color is called "coyote" by Glock.
The grip feels the best to me of any Glock ever. I love the color. Trigger was sweet. |

I’ve put close to 350 rounds so far thru mine.
They ship with the 6.1mm sight which means you have to use a combat / SiG style hold or “they shoot to the dots”. This is a departure from most other 9mm glocks which shoot to the top of the blades, due to the 6.5mm rear. Just nitpicking but I noticed it. Put a 6.5mm/.256 black rear on and got the poi to my normal standards. Neutered the right side ambi slide stop and pulled the lanyard off.  Attached File Attached FileThey balance and point extremely well, been a vocal supporter of a commander glock for years. Now make one in a 10+1 single stack. |
