I have not found boneless chicken breast in stock at aldi or Walmart in two months. The store that has it consistently sells it for 4 bucks a pound. The only chicken I find cheap is whole chickens, I assume because most people are too lazy to cut it up.
This tells me that folks in my area are feeling the pain bad enough to consistently select the cheapest possible protein. Definitely not a good sign of things to come. |

I dunno. Looking up for me
Finally decided to take a look at the ac on my truck. Pressure switch and a can of Freon and the old girl is ready for summer |

Prepare for bad times, but don't forget to live in the now and enjoy it. Turn off the TV and stop reading the news. It's very easy to get into a cycle of depression if all you fill your head with is doom and gloom. Ignore the things you can't change, and work on what you can.
Life is a lot better when you just let things roll off your back and not work you up. |

My business did pretty well last year so I did the stupidest thing I could and ordered a brand-new boat. It game in last week.
We're slower this year and I'm down some in the market, also gas prices. So...I'm selling it for a $70k profit before it hits the water. Crazy times... |

Well according to liberal media, if Musk takes over twitter, we will have WWIII and the end of the world. OK, if we change the second part to the end of the world as they know it - maybe. Imagine the shitstorm if people can express their decent without being censored by the woke agenda.

Not the end of America, but not pleasant. |

My prediction:
Lockdowns in September to prep for sending out millions of mail in ballots “for everyone‘a safety”, so they can steal this election too. Regardless of the fact that the entire planet knows that the Dems are hated by the majority. |

View Quote That takes into account the gov stops spending / blowing trillions they don’t have. And gov will do wise, well thought out fixes. They won’t, it will just keep climbing due to them doing the same, or even worse dumb shit. Public… everything’s too expensive, we need relief ! Gas is $5.00 a gallon ! Electricity super high, Doritos are hard to find ! Meat $10 a lb ! Gov…. Here’s a price lock on food, plus 5 trillion stimulus, $2000 per person to help you. 80% to big business bailout. Congress pay raise. 6 months later… Public… OMG it’s even worse ! Fix it ! Gas is $8.00 a gallon, and meat is impossible to get, we’re eating nothing but beans n rice ! Gov…… here’s a gas price lock, and another 5 trillion relief bill, $2000 for everyone, 80% to big business bail out. Congress pay raise. Public… OMG ! OMG ! OMG !, there’s no gas ! No rice in beans ! No electric either ! Vegetables are impossible to find, we’re starving ! Gov…. Well, it’s hard on us too ! We have to eat prime rib, because no lobster ! My driver had to sit in line for a hour to fill the limo with fuel, and my pilot had a hard time finding wax to polish my plane ! It’s so hard for us ! you should buy a $200k Tesla, to save on gas prices, or maybe start a garden if you want vegetables. |

Quoted: Bad? I just built a coop and filled it with chickens. Bought a ton of stuff to plant in a garden I haven't got to plant in years. This rat race just might end and we can finally go back to living like we did as kids. Care free. Something came to me a while back one night on arfcom pissed off at all the new gov bullshit being talked about. Freedom is mine. Nothing is preventing me from doing what I want but me. As a kid I rebeled against any and all authority as soon as I could see I was being lied to. Somewhere I lost that rebel spirit. Got stuck in the trap. I am choosing to live free again. If someone wants to take that from me it's worth defending. The "freedom" we have now isn't. If the day comes, I will die with memories worth having because I have enough regrets. Live like a free man. You will soon find happiness, and with it something worth defending. I promise it gets better as soon as you stop worrying. There is light at the end of the tunnel so just keep walking. Don't worry about the whistle, it's been blowing the whole time. View Quote Attached File |
