200-240 in sets of 20. I skip Thursdays.
If you want to change the way your clothes fit or the way you perceive yourself visually you have to change your entire diet. Strong and fit does not mean visually appealing. Just like the Russians. |

I suck at remembering. I'd like it to be ten sets of 30. Most days I remember at least 6 or 7 sets. I stopped doing "PRT pushups" a while ago. Only full ROM, pause at top and bottom. It cuts the number I can do about in half. View Quote |

Once a week I go for max, usually 65-75. Part of a warmup actually.
Look up the 100pushup workout, it's a straightforward pgm to get to 100. After I accomplished that I started doing it daily, which led to shoulder pain. So now it's a weekly thing. Everything in moderation. |

You still have tits because you can't spot reduce fat. You can't do enough crunches to get abs. You can't do enough push ups to lose the moobs. You CAN lose enough fat to do both, though. HOW?????!!!!!! Gypsy from MST3K voice. |

Every day? Zero.
I do 60 to 70 pullups and 150 pushups every other day tho. Give those muscles 24 hours to heal. |
|
Why would I do pushups every day?
I do 100 about once every two weeks lately, mostly to strengthen my injured serratus and focused on that muscle. I disagree with those who say it's a bad movement, you don't get good serratus activation on the bench and they make a huge difference on a heavy bag. |

22 every morning when I get out of bed.
I do it for the 22 soldiers that committ suicide every day. Im genetically thin and sexy no need in doing hours of pt |

As that comedian said; I don't do ups, I do downs...sit down, lay down...
I'm 47, 6'5" and have weighed 200 +/-5lbs for over 20 years. Most of that time in the Military where I had to work out. But even now that I'm retired and driving a truck, I still haven't gained weight. |

Push-up routines are great if you're in jail with nothing better to do, but I would rather just use more weight and bench press, like a non-jailbird thst has money.

Truth. As we all know "gym strength" doesn't correlate to real strength. We've been told this by non lifters on arfcom many times. They all have friends who bench 315 for reps that can't pick up one end of a sofa. It's that damn gym strength! View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

My right wrist is damaged, if I start doing pushups it start a screaming for me to go fuck myself with stabbing pain. I can do a set here and there and get away with it... but if I really start trying to get into shaped again by day three my wrist is telling me im done. I really ought to get some free weights or something. I hate being a fraction of my former self. (Psyhically) |
