Someone could try to equate his removal from GD as some hypocritical glee about censorship, but calls for his removal predate the timeline given by staff for when they started planning the new "changes". He's not kicked from the site, which is fine. At some point down the road, he may be let back in to GD. |

I guess I'm still a little confused how everything goes together.
So someone overheard something several years ago. They then told someone else (the whistleblower) that it was Trump saying those things. The whistleblower goes public. Then it turns out it was actually Biden that said those things? I must have that completely wrong

The declassified complaint is a joke. Nothing in the "complaint" has anything to do with "A serious or flagrant problem, abuse, violation of law or Executive order, or deficiency relating to the funding, administration, or operation of an intelligence activity within the responsibility and authority of the Director of National Intelligence involving classified information, but does not include differences of opinions concerning public policy matters." which is the USC under which the "urgent complaint" was filed. It's a political hit and the person who submitted it should IMHO not be entitled to whistleblower protection.
