I did get to mic the barrel today and it's right at .70"

Again....I'm tellin ya....it's a one-off built by a US gunsmith......not an anti-tank rifle......not a fortress gun....and guaranteed not in a British caliber....looks like post WW2 instead of interwar though if the 47 date is actually when it was built
