I also think that flying an A-10 and shooting the shit out of the bad guys' tanks and trains would be fun.

The list is long, but my top two would be the X-15 and the B-17G.

P-47 Thunderbolt
8 - 50cal guns, recoil when fired reduced the speed by some 30mph. Predecessor to the A10. Very tough, could take a lot of punishment. But unforgiving a bit to fly. |
