Kimber of Oregon. Made a nice .22 (Left Handers too!), even made target ones for the gov., nice .223 sized bolt guns, and had just gotten big game rifles going out the doors when the company was broken up and sold off as pieces.

Blackhawk. Went from being one of the early, big, flashy gear providers (goofy as they were) to pretty much irrelevant once 5.11 came out and got big.

They were "trade name guns" from different manufacturers, just like every other every other store brand. Revelation was lower end stuff, iirc. Sears could be anything from H&R to Marlin, Winchester, even Perazzi. |
