The agreement to buy the house was 99% done........ Then my wife found out that because of one item of insider information she has we won't be able to sell stock for the down payment until that item is public knowledge which make take up to 3 months. No new house for us. |

Seller is willing to push out closing by almost 2 months (to the date we first requested) and extend their current counter-offer for a week to let us investigate a couple of options to get things done, and if there are still issues we can probably agree a contingency where closing would be pushed out further if we still can't sell the stock. It's like a fucking roller-coaster. |

This is another of Baffert's horses, maybe you've heard of him. This race, and the calls from the commentator, still give me goosebumps and choke me up a little.
