Shorten it a foot.
2-door with 4 seats. And redesign the fucking Cherokee KL abomination while you're at it. You suck, Fiat. |

Just sold my off road trailer to make room in the garage for one of these. I'm planning to put a camper in the bed and run 37 or 40 inch tires.

Everyone wants a two door, except the people who would actually buy one.

Nice but only hard core off roaders would buy that . They have to appeal to a broad market .

I'm not a hardcore off-roader and I'd buy it. But yes, they have to appeal to the pussified masses. Hopefully someone will make a kit. View Quote That would take some fabrication but that thing is built off road use really . Winch installed front and rear steel bumpers Even if they wanted to mass market it it would be pushing I bet $70,000 |

Many people seem to have no idea how much Jeep dealers are willing to deal off msrp. May be difficult for a bit but that won't last and deals will come.
The well equipped medium trims will be buyable under 40 just like other midsize trucks. Yes, they are all too expensive. But the pricing is competitive. |

They have to appeal to The reality is that the "Soccer mom" demographic is seriously underrepresented among Wrangler purchasers compared to the vast majority of other categories. Most Wranglers are bought by and driven by men. Four doors even have a larger percentage of male buyers than two doors. They're not being bought by the person driving kids around day to day. |

It's a common misconception, I always thought that two doors were almost exclusively bought by women. Turns out that while two doors have a higher percentage of women drivers and owners than four doors, men are the largest group in both categories. I chalk it up to paying more attention to the women. Everyone wants a two door, except the people who would actually buy one. View Quote I absolutely agree that most people calling for two doors (or stripped down models, rubber floor mats, etc) are full of shit, but this is the one case where I think a small number of them would actually buy it. Of course the problem is that everyone has a qualifier. |

Is the roof removable? Does it have the option for a V8 without cylinder deactivation? Unless the answer is yes to both, not interested.

I think of the Rubicon truck like a Jeep version of a Hillux and I dont think the price is out of line considering how capable and equipped it is.
I still think they'll sell a fuck ton of base models though, since the 285hp engine and 4x4 are standard. |

Been seeing them around Toledo. I like em a lot. The 1st one I saw was the twin to that silver one in the OP. My brother-in-law works at North assembly as a supervisor. They will practically pay him to take a RAM but no discounts on a Wrangler.
