I paid for this.
Regardless, theyr'e not the only ones who do this. I have other manufacturers hats that are also foreign made, including Spikes, Harris and Daniel Defense. |

Third-world types should be making our hats.
As Americans, we should be doing more important shit that requires more valuable skills. |

Making shit like that is right up most Americans alley. I can't even begin to explain just how useless most of them are with their current skill sets. |

You're about to be depessed with the following fact:
Lots of stuff is made overseas. |
Fuck, this thread should be about bashing Troy, Winchester, Colt or a shit load of other manufactures.

They're firearm companies. Their firearm components are made here.
I'm having a hard time getting my panties in a wad because the hats they give away (even if you happened to buy these) are made elsewhere. |
Considering they make firearms in America, donate to the nra, and other pro 2a causes, id say they have more American pride than can be shown by having a hat (often given away for free) made in America

I care that my PredatAR is made in the U.S. My hat, not so much. If it really bothers you, you can cut that tag out.
guess that why my bravo company hat and art15 shirt does not have any made in info lol !

I guess I'm the villain for wanting Americans and American business to support Americans and American businesses.

You go into business to make a profit, not lose money. Making shit in the US is expensive=less profit, making shit in third world shit hole is cheap=more profit. You can be patriotic and scrape by, or a smart business person and rich.

In this thread OP complains about the realities manufacturing in the US.
OP, where is your made in the US product. You know, designed by Americans, engineered by Americans, manufactured by Americans using American produced materials? |
It's worth a smirk but not enough to rustle my jimmies.
I have their rail and bought a couple other things from them. Next payday I'm going to liberate the fuck out of their apparel section. Like, full on fan boy. Thanks OP. |

"Buying American" is, in general, not a good strategy for economic growth in America. Feel patriotic all you want, but it actually hurts us. |

You should read up on the "buy local fallacy," and apply "local" to the US, in the scope of the entire world. Global trade is an awesome, powerful thing that increases ALL of our wealth. |
Still waiting for OP to list American companies that make hats and aren't bussing Mexican's across the border to a building 3 ft this side of the Rio Grande so their label can say Made in USA
Computers, iPhones, tablets, medicine, food, tools, and just anything else you can imagine is being produced there. They are the producing country now, America is now a consuming country.
I search out American made items to buy, but they are expensive and becoming fewer and fewer as our government encourages industry to move out. |
Hell Most of the stuff you get from diluth trading is made in the same two countries.
People bitched and moaned about the stink of textile mills in the U.S. until they were all run out. |
I build airplanes. I don't want to sew hats. OP feel free to start your own hat company to compete.

ITT, we bitch about free stuff. Why not, members here bitched about a rifle giveaway on Facebook, because it was on Facebook. Why couldn't they have just offered it on their website though and not alienate a large number of possible customers? Everyone online has a web browser. Not everyone uses FB. |
