States are like tiny countries. Their ballots rules are different as the federal government doesn’t actually control the way they receive ballots/vote. That responsibility is the states. The Supreme Court only steps in when the states ask them to make that determination. The rules aren’t the same state to state for their electoral votes.

See my post above. This is the North Carolina legislature's fault. They gave their board of elections too much power when they wrote the law. Their incompetence created this situation. They abdicated their responsibility.

Depends on the merits of each states case, each states law, and how they're presenting the case. These are being ruled individually, not blanket since each state runs elections in their own ways

It is a state right issue. All the Court did was say so. No one has to like it but it is clearly a state right.
