Are they the same size around as lady bugs?
If they are yes they do bite and it does hurt.  Step dad and I got  into a pocket of them while clearing the grandparents yard out after they died.
Looked like we got shot with rock salt from glove tops to shirt sleeves and neck.

Correct.  Not to be confused with the ladybug beetle.  Ladybug = good, Japanese beetle = bad.

Not correct.
We have plenty of those Japanese beetles, and they do not look like the pictures the OP is posting.
The Japanese beetles that have become such a nuisance look similar to a ladybug, although not exactly like one.  Those beetles in the picture are smaller and the wrong color.

Be careful.  At night when you're sleeping those things crawl up into your asshole and lay their eggs.  Once they hatch, the babies will crawl back out of your asshole but they usually leave a nasty infection from the decaying placenta/egg pouches.

A friend of mine had them in his house once; he recommends duct tape across your ass.  Protip - shave your ass hair off first or the duct tape will be.....unpleasant when pulled off in the morning.

Better safe than sorry, man.

Don't bother with the duct tape. Those beetles also carry rabies. OP will prefer to die from a decaying asshole in preference to rabies.

no, washing your sheets does nothing for getting rid of bedbugs unless you are dumping them in liquid Co2 or insecticide.
even then, they will reinfest because they are hiding inside some other piece of furniture.

Who ever told you that is full of shit

And its not a bed bug

Any person can get bedbugs. They can infest anything that has a food source, AKA your body.

Holy shit !   C.D.C. says they are Tropical Nad Varmits. Only way to protect yourself is to cover your nads with icey hot and shove a jalapeno up your ass until they go to your neighbors house to hunt fresh nads.  Otherwise leave your house nude and start life over way up north.  Sorry bud, but it could be worse..... Look for a nest in the dirty laundry, the older smarter ones are in the underwear drawer. I saw this on Discovery channel. not good. Tell everyone you know. They will forever thank you.

Not a June bug. I've seen them around my place too and they definitely are not June bugs. They aren't bed bugs either but I don't know what they are. They don't seem to cause any trouble and they're seasonal so I don't worry about them.

Hardly had any last year.  Then, in the Fall, I made the first fire in the woodstove insert...it was as if I their queue for Flight of the Valkyries.  "Brrvvvvv, brrrrrvvvv, brrrrvvvvv, brvvvvvvv, brrrrrrvvvvv" all over the place.  I caught them with a paper towel and sent them to Stinkbug Valhalla.
