Not a horse person but don't places that offer ride rentals or what ever you call it have horses for people heavier than 200 pounds. That's not a lot of weight if men also want to ride a rental. Im 6 feet and weigh around 215. I would get refused.

At one time the maximum weight for a U.S. cavalryman was 145 pounds.
One western game guide says max of 225 to ride his horses. |

View Quote Possibly, but a lot of pay to ride places have older/smaller horses that know the game and are very docile. Figure about 20% of the horses weight for total carry weight, including tack, and that's a max limit. Rental horses might be lower to help save wear and tear on them. A quarter horse is like 1200 lbs at the high end, so you are looking at a max 180-240 lbs depending on how the owner sets the max and the weight and age of the horse. |

Went to the state fair once and there was a land whale kid on a small horse. Looked like animal abuse for the horse.

The real reason she is so upset is that all the ranch hands kept calling her 'Bossie' and trying to put the saddle on her[/i].

Perfectly acceptable for a hack stable to only keep average horses for average riders. If I ran a business like that I'm not keeping drafts around just to make some ham planet happy. Everything about drafts is even more than the everything already expensive about normal horses.
Also, She's big but she's not that big. I bet this is another attempt to gain followers to get media by finding things she will get denied at then making a scene about it. Wouldn't surprise me if she looked until she found a stable that said no. |

That is a goddamned disgusting fucking pig. Healthy at any weight my arse. Lose some weight you nasty hog.

Quoted: Stable near here has a 200lb weight limit clearly posted and explained with a no refund policy, and they put you on a scale. The amount of butt hurt is epic. View Quote Sounds like a good policy. Clearly defined, no discussion. Of course if the horse collapsed and the rider was injured, they would sue. I wonder how long until amusement parks shut down...... |

He liked to one-hand 8"x8" mine timbers when doing shaft rehab. I was also hoping for video of a lardass falling off a horse. |

That’s funny as hell. They’d allow the horses to carry an elk out of a mountain range, over the craziest of terrain, but this gal can’t ride one around the arena.

I have no tolerance for fat people.
Why ? Because I have been fat before and I know perfectly well how you get fat. By eating too much and being a lazy bastard. For 99% of the people it is that way. Just lost more than 40pounds in 3 months and I am back at my healthy athletic weight. All it took was will and a bit of effort. No Fucking Excuses |

The Ranch itself appears to have two websites, one of which is a blog it shares a link to on its Facebook page. On the blog, there is a guide to how much weight a horse can carry. The guide states “a rider should be not more than 15% of the horses’ weight.” There is also a list of options for “The Best Horse Breeds For Plus-Sized Riders.” On the Ranch's other website, there is no information on the horses or weight restrictions, just information on the services offered and background on the ranch itself. Poor horse.
She might want to try parachuting. Weight is not important there either. |

I live next to a few pastures and I've never seen the cows hiding the horses.
