Many people can't seem to get past seeing him as the young guy in "Titanic." He was fantastic in "Catch Me If You Can." One of my favorite movies. Hard-pressed to think of a movie he wasn't good in. He was outstanding in Body of Lies and Blood Diamond, IMO. He did seem kinda dumb in Whats Eating Gilbert Grape, though... Body of Lies was amazing, as long as you ignore the stupid cellphone calls with Russell Crowe bits, and giant windowed offices. I hope those weren't Ridley Scott's ideas. I still haven't seen blood Diamond. Supposedly it was a movie with a message, but it definitely didn't come off preachy IMO. Nice gun pr0n in it, and Jennifer Connelly as well. Worth a rent, for sure. Message was don't buy diamonds from Seirra Leone because the money fuels warlords and they force the people to mine for them. It wasn't supposed to jump out at you. He's a very good actor, I'll catch this movie. |

I will watch this movie. The only one this year I'm interested in seeing. Still not sure if I'll go to a theater... I hate them.

Movie has piqued my intrest, LDC did a good job in aviator and gangs of new york, havent seen blood diamond but it's on my list.
I'll end up watching this new one methinks. |
