In my experience, the frequency of DV among lesbian couples is very, very high. Also high among gay men, but lesbians are consistently more frequent offenders.

Women initiate DV far more often than men. They also abuse children at much higher rates than men.
The problem though is women don’t really have the physical strength to cause damage. And the boomer courts have a “well the little lady was expressing herself.” Attitude. They also encourage domestic violence. I had one church marm type try telling me that if a toddler acts up. I should beat him like an east (STL) side thug. And all the other splits around her were saying how great a mom she was. I told her she was full of shit and to not talk to me. |

I worked with a number of lesbian people in the refinery, some were insane. It was a real shit show when there partner worked in the refinery on or off of their shift and some other lesbian starts moving in on the partner. There was some real shouting matches.

Back in the early 90s, there were a few lesbians that worked for the same company I did. A couple of them were in management, and one was in upper management. They were ALWAYS arguing about one stupid thing or another. They ALL knew each other before the job and they had all lived together, with each other, at some point. And a couple of them still lived together.
Our Director of Operations said, "I swear! I'm never hiring another fucking lesbian, again. All they do is argue and then bring that bullshit to work with them and make everyone else miserable." Someone told him, "Yeah, but you really can't not hire someone due to their sexual orientation." Him, "Yeah, fuck all that. I'll hire whoever the fuck I want for whatever reason I want. And I'm tired of putting up with their bullshit." And I agree(d) with him. |
