More than half of my guns are .22lr. That means I own at least three guns, and at least two .22lr. But you'll have to work harder at the data mining than that.

Quoted: Ok, I’ll show my suppressor ignorance here. You guys with .22 cans do the same ones on the rifles fit the pistol’s as well? I mean across brands(Ruger to S&W to whatever?) Are they threaded the same? View Quote Yes, they fit pistols or rifle as the threads are the same. Most 22 suppressors can handle .17 rimfire up to 22 mag as well. |

Another 22 I like are the ruger 77/22 rifles, those are really sweet.

I mean across brands(Ruger to S&W to whatever?) Are they threaded the same? Yes, some mfg's put .600 length threads on AR based 22's which can cause issues with some cans but is easily solved with a machined spacer. Virtually every Amercian made .22 that's threaded is 1/2-28 x .400. European guns are often 1/2-20. Ok, thanks, that’s good to know. The .400 vs .600 issue isn’t as common as it was 15-20 years ago. I need to get that back out. ETA: Holy fuck at the prices of those on gunbroker now. They're 1 to 2k... ![]() |

Skinner peep is coming for the BL-22. Then I start working on a friend who has a vintage 22lr Colt revolver he never shoots...

I have a lot of rimfire's, mostly replicas or down sized versions of my actuals but I do have some oddballs.
This one is in .17 HMR. I don't use it much because it's boring. It gives one ragged hole dead center at 100. At 50 I don't shoot golf balls but the T's the ball is sitting on or the heads off of little green army men. ![]() These are my two newest, a couple mark IV's. Top one already has a bunch of Tandemkross and Volquarten parts in it. The bottom does now but this is pre gutting it: ![]() |

View Quote Son inlaw just bought himself one of those at Christmas. His first revolver and he loves it. Me and he had a .22 revolver plink session break out. We had a load of spent aluminum drink cans and got creative. Started with bets on shooting stationary cans, then water filled cans, then swinging water filled cans...finale was who could shoot the strings supporting the cans. He was closest with his Wrangler. He did not cut one, but he did discolor (nicked) one three times. We burned a brick at that competition. ![]() |
