I lived in Florida for around 32 years and still go back to see family at least twice a year. Couldn’t wait to get out of the flat topography and humidity. Mountains and hills and no humidity = much more pleasurable to me. I could bear Florida a lot more if not for the humidity, I love being outdoors but I hate immediately sweating as soon as you walk out.

Florida was nice when my family lived there. Just got sick of all the NY'ers and NJ'ers invading the state and dealing with hurricanes. I don't mind dealing with wild fires now.
