I have practiced dentistry in metro ATL GA for 20 years. I own vacation property on Anna Maria Island. This weekend I sat for the Florida dental board licensing exam at Nova U in Ft. Lauderdale and await the results of 2 of the 6 parts I have taken.
Will hopefully soon put GA in the rearview mirror. |

I dunno, 75 right now low of 61 tonight, I'm outside watching my son play ball. Low humidity. Getting into best weather. I'm biased because I'm cool. Attached File

I kind of like it. I want to love it. Too many snakes and not enough outdoor things to do beyond the beach.
My parents home is near Tampa. I visit frequently. |

I can't wait to get the hell out of Florida said by no one ever that lived on the water and had a boat.
Love it here. |

Quoted: I strongly disagree, but it's your opinion and you're entitled to it. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: I used to own a home in Florida. Used to. WV is hands down better. I strongly disagree, but it's your opinion and you're entitled to it. WV would be perfect it you could pick it up and move it in between Georgia and Florida. I love it here. Constitutional open or concealed carry, beautiful scenery, decent hunting & fishing, plentiful twisty back roads to ride motorcycles, etc. It's just a bit too cold in January and February. The southland is where it's at. Just came back from the gulf coast. I love it. I don't think I'd want to live on the coast but it's awesome a couple weeks at a time. I hope to one day be able to find small town America BFE like here but there. "Say what you will about the South, but no one retires & moves up North." |

I love FL as well. This is my back yard, well just after a 5 minute ride out of the canal.

Ohio is summertime sweet corn and tomatoes. No tornadoes to worry about. Access to indoor and outdoor shooting ranges. Needs more mountains for hiking though.

Quoted: I lived in Florida for around 32 years and still go back to see family at least twice a year. Couldn’t wait to get out of the flat topography and humidity. Mountains and hills and no humidity = much more pleasurable to me. I could bear Florida a lot more if not for the humidity, I love being outdoors but I hate immediately sweating as soon as you walk out. View Quote This plus one...I'm from Florida, and every time I go back home in the summer, I think to myself "I don't think that I want to retire from the Army here"... |
