I lived in Naples back in the late 60's, but it's a different place now. The population of Florida has grown 10 fold.
Of all the places I've lived over the past 68 years, I still like central Idaho and western Montana best. Now I'm getting to the point that proximity to a hospital is a consideration. It sucks, but it is what it is. |

I have to travel a minimum of two hours to get to some terrain slightly different and more like four hours for something I really like. I sort of feel like I live in a huge parking lot. I like places with hills and trees, or beaches, or anything. I like hunting and the outdoors but there is nothing here to hunt but birds. I have no complaints with the politics of our area the landscape just is so bland. Honestly the people here are great but I have traveled all over the country for work and I view where I live as one of the most depressing landscapes there is. |
