My POF MP5 arrived. Looks really good, clean. Finish is a bit glossy, but beggars can't be choosers and as far as I know, POF is the only current manufacture that offers a metal lower. Sights and tube are straight. Welds are good for the most part, but the rear sight weld is a bit sloppy. A little bit of dust mixed in with the oil slathered on it makes it look a bit rough, but the finish is much better than I expected.
Attached FileInternals look good, parked and almost tool mark free. The off color parts are a mix of oil, shitty lighting and potato phone.
Attached File Attached FileThe POF mags are very nice, great welds and sturdy. I read an old article about their mags being flimsy, but they've definitely addressed the issue. Nothing flimsy about them. Internals look good, with a tooling mark here and there but pretty good overall.
Attached FileCame with 3 mags, case, sling, manual, cleaning kit, SB brace and additional buffer if you don't want to run the brace and a funky plastic cap which I don't know the purpose of.
Attached FileHopefully I can get to shooting it this week and give a range report. The reviews on it accuracy wise are GTG, but I'm itching to find out myself.
