I was actually thinking of a particular outcome when I saw the first post. Instead of 35, this girl was already 42. The medical schooling consumes a lot of a person’s prime years and they become socially distorted in many respects. You add on the crazy hours, too, and lots of structural psychology is different from conventional career paths. Everyone is of course changed by the profession and sustained lifestyle, but the doctors and dentists seem to be the most vulnerable to this type of character. |
