I don't know. I can't imagine driving a street legal go cart and not having a smile on my face afterwards. Small, lightweight and with the right performance parts I'm sure they are a hoot.

I currently own both a 2004 MX-5 Miata Turbo and a 2008 Corvette. Both are great fun driving cars but are also very different. That's why I own both!

I am one of those that took out a 2018 Miata for a test drive as I could not understand the hype. After the test drive I still can not understand the hype. I ended up with a Porsche Boxster. I will say if the Miata came stock with a decent motor that was factory warrantied I could see it being a fun car. Like the guy above who said he has a Corvette and they are very different....I agree...I also had a C6 that was way more fun. Heck my Audi A5 sportback and my Mustang 5.0 is more fun than the Miata...the only car other than the Miata I don't get is the Audi TT...however in all fairness to the Miata I don't track my cars...that might make a huge difference in my opinion of them

I had one I put $12,000 in mods into.
It was stupidly, amazingly, and dangerously quick. You could bounce it off its rev-limiter in 5th gear, 137 mph. Goddamn that was a fun car! |
