OK, let's give him the benefit of the doubt...he ordered a Halal pizza and got a non-Halal pizza. There are no damages. It's not like he has any provable injury. And the big thing here is, if you religion is so strict you can burn in hell for accidentally eating pepperoni, don't buy food from Little Caesars. Or any other fast food joint. Fast food joints fuck up my order at least 25% of the time, I would not trust them with my eternal soul. Little Caesars is a pizza mill, they will make mistakes like this. It is going to happen. Maybe don't shop there if there is a decent chance you will go to hell because some high school kid stuck his mitts in the wrong topping container. View Quote |

It's OK. The amount of $ the Illitch family steals from the tax payers will pay for this as soon as the new "Little Ceasers Arena" opens up in the fall.
If it happened to anyone besides an Illitch company, I would give a fuck. |

Even if the pizza was supposed to be halal, it was prepared in the same kitchen that normal pork containing pizzas are and is going to be contaminated no matter how you look at it. But islam is not a religion of rational thought processes, so whatever I guess

I worked at Little sneezers back in the 80's in high school. This was when Chanute afb was still open. We would have Saudi nationals in there frequently, from the base on tdy. They would ask if the pepperoni had pork. We were to stupid then to know that it is a beef, pork product.
Lots of them are on their way to Islamic Hell I guess. |

Bazzi knew it was pork because he used to work in a pizza place and knows the different types of pepperoni, Moughni said. He also said Bazzi's wife could tell because she is a Catholic convert to Islam who grew up eating pork. ... Well if he knew it was pepperoni made with pork because of his past exposure to pepperoni pizza in he workplace, then why did he eat it? It's kind of like when you are trying to stay away from pron because its wrong to lust, but then you google search "Remy Lacroix" like it was an accident or you were looking for Remy Lacroix, the French carpenter. You can't sue Google. |

This is a "he said, she said" case. He said it was pork. So show me the pork. I want to see it. If you knew it was pork, and you knowingly ate it, shame on you. No raisins for you. LC has no comment, which is the best way to go.
What was that hamburger commercial....where's the beef? Show me the pork! |

'Halal' isn't just 'non-pork', the halal designation, much like 'kosher', needs to be overseen by a religious person, say when the animal is first 'cut'. So it's not that simple, although we seem to be splitting hairs, here. If L.C. has a non-pork/halal pepperoni substitute and that wasn't used, when it was requested and paid for, then all bets are off. Chris View Quote |

Chris I said in my first post on page one that $100M was too much, I even said $10k is too much and I settled on a $2,500 number, just because. If you advertise and sell a halal pizza, you better be able to back it up. It's not that difficult to fathom. As somebody who sold food in Miami, you better know your kosher shit when a Jew comes up and asks you if X, Y or Z is kosher. At least be truthful and say you 'don't know' and then let them decide if the risk is worth it. Chris |

neither did pizza guy, this is why he will be fired and pizza giant will pay. i also do not care, but it is funny and shitty at the same time. funny because it happened to him and shitty because people are to fucking incompetent to do basic pizza serving jobs. i am starting to feel like i care to much now.

HA HA. I remember one of my mechanics would always come up to my desk and eat whatever I had laying there. Chips, crackers ect. Guy was muslim. So one day I left a bag of pork rinds out. I watched him eat 3 or 4 rinds until I told him what it was. I started laughing and he got super pissed. I guess i'm glad he didn't sue me. View Quote So one day she bought a lot of Altoids and watched the whole office take candy as they think she wasn't looking (every-time she stepped away from her desk they would grab handfuls). After a week of this continuing to happen, she then started asking "who's eating all the Altoids, I hope it's not everyone?!" with a concern tone. When they asked why, she said well she found out that there is beef gelatin in it. She never had theft problems since. |
