This is as stupid as the "studies" that show you're more likely to get shot if you have a gun in the house.

The rehab people make good money in a tight economy, same as drug law enforcement.  Can not forget jailers, and all the other little people depending on you to pay them, so we can be drug free.

All these crusaders are addicted to your tax money and most have no other marketable skills that would allow them the life they lead now.

Caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, a host of legal drugs that get you high.  No tests for that.

US  Conservatives should really drop the anti weed loonyness it is just retarded.

These is no reason to ban MJ and part of the popularity in the US comes from  the fact its banned I would guess.

Thank you for saying that.

Ah, the old "if you hate the drug war you are a drug user" line.

It's boring and inaccurate.  There have been folks on here and I will join them that will put $1,000 on the line over a drug test of your choice.  Of you believe so firmly in your position this is easy money for you.

Oh hell yeah, lets make it a lot more than 1k!

How many of them tested positive for alcohol use in the last 30-60 days?

The flaw is in the extended latency of a non-psychotropic enzyme. What an apples-to-kumquats comparison.

Something like 98% of heroin addicts smoke cigarettes.

"blah blah and blah......, said April Demers of the Monroe County Substance Abuse Coalition."

“It’s become the new drug of choice in the community and always has been,” Mr. Basile said.

Anytime I see a "Coalition" to ban something I know full well to be on the lookout for sweeping generalization, twisted facts and logic and a complete lack of respect for individual freedom.

Yep. And poly drug use is more likely to result in overdose than use of a single drug. Heroin, no worries. Valium, no worries. Alcohol, no worries.  Heroin plus Valium plus alcohol, I get to hang out with your corpse until the coroner shows up, so get a good cable tv package please.

Actually it is, but it makes no more sense to ban it than to leave the MJ trade uncontrolled and in the hands of criminals and cartels.   Truth be told,  the most commonly used addictive drug in the US and the world is caffeine.   Kids can buy it at the store no questions asked.
