Probably the company that proclaimed they were making their own hammer forged barrels and that they're the best ever. Except they weren't making their own, couldn't get their machines to run right, and were subcontracting them out.

That would have been Red Jacket Firearms out of Baton Rouge Louisiana. Very sad story there. There was also the Wyatt's out of Colorado. They also had a discovery channel show called American Guns. Not quite as sad a story, more attractive daughter. |

Spikes Tactical. I remember they used to be a popular option for a good quality but lower priced rifle. Now their rifles have skull lowers, and look like a dude dressed in Tapout clothes with a popped baseball cap on backwards.

I guess Taran Tactical wouldn’t count because he isn’t AR specific, but damn his “precious” thing should have caught him charges.
I don’t hate strike industries for trying to make affordable parts with a different aesthetic, but their logo is way too.. angular, and their takedown pins are so fucking stupid i feel like if they can’t make those right i can’t trust them with more important components. If i have to pick one company to shit on, it’s gonna be Colt. |
