The movie story had like nothing to do with the games. Just used Max's backstory of his family being murdered by junkies.

Not gonna lie, the only reason I bought my 29-2 p&r is because of Dirty Harry. Ironically enough, when the first John Wick came out I owned all the guns Keanu Reeves used in that film, but I had them before the film made them cool.

Black Hawk Down and Blood Diamond are big drivers in the carry handle carbine market.

Also, I always thought the part in Jurassic Park that showed the jammed SPAS-12 to be very fitting because the one I had was a jam-o-matic piece of shit.

Lots of folks wanted M1 Garands and M1 Carbines after Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers.  Probably 1911’s as well, but I know people who went for the rifles directly as a result of the movie & series.

The problem with modern inox is they come with black small parts. Everything but the extractor is an easy swap, but the extra parts add up.

Never got into the Beretta 92. Though I do intend to pick up a 92XI someday.

For me the one gun I wanted from a piece of media was the CZ-75 from Gunsmith Cats. Although I don't subscribe to Rally Vincent's unhealthy facination with the earliest Short Rail version.

Heh, I remember when I first saw them I thought they were a reverse engineered alien weapon prop. Then I noticed they were dropping brass and much to my shock, it's a real military weapon.

I would have bought one but I just don't like the round.

I know right, this right here. And it's such a trash gun too, Walther should just let it die but I bet it makes them a ton of money. The gun just flat out sucks! It's a weak caliber but it's loud and recoils like a bigger gun. The sights are pure dog shit. If the hammer doesn't bite your hand the slide will, and your knuckle will probably bash on the trigger guard. What a piece of crap gun but it does look nice though.
