He's been dead for a long time, yet some dumbasses, who shan't be named, can't seem to grasp this. He's dead. He's no longer a driving force in his company.
Get over it. |

once upon a time S&W signed the HUD Agreement. Company sold and people gave them a pass. I am not a huge fan Ruger firearms but let it go.

You're ignoring a company that's come out with AR-pattern rifles and carbines, a whole bunch of newer pistols to include a line of "high" capacity service striker-fired guns, started selling 20 and 30-round Mini magazines direct to the public, and has donated millions to the NRA to fight restrictive legislation...and that's all in the past 6-7 years. Bill Ruger is long dead. Mitsubishi doesn't make A6M airplanes any more. |

Ruger now makes high cap mags. Just like Henry Ford was wildly anti Semitic, he's dead and the company changed. If they still were there or their influences it would be different, otherwise its time to move on... |

It was rumored for years that Bill Ruger kept all the spare parts for the Mark I in a cigar box.
Not his personal Mark I, the entire production run. A real genius when it came to design, but a Fudd at heart, and a man who never understood why the Cincinnati revolt happened in 1977. |

I was confused by his statement because I don't know that ruger felt the sting from boycotters and has become so much bigger and better and ole Zumbo still gets paid to do his thing which I find unfortunate but many gun owners seem to forget that there are plenty of people that agreed with him even in our camp. |

Now, go have a good time. |

OP, your free to spend your money as you please, don't like rugers? Don't buy one. But by your logic we shouldn't by Mercedes toyotas or Hondas because they are from countries that were at one point in history lead by people who did bad things. Saying "I won't buy a ruger because Bill Ruger supported hi-cap magazine bans" is the same as saying "I won't buy a Volkswagen because Germany used to be lead by Hitler and be committed genocide" Your argument is full of derp. Ruger as it is now is one of the best friends we all have in the firearms industry. They listen to what we want and they produce good quality firearms to meet those needs. I would buy a ruger over a Remington product any day of the week because I would rather support them than the shitty Freedom Group.
