Usually spend one week a year in Wyo, not enough time to notice much of anything specific . Stayed in Riverton 2 nights, had a fellow motel guest say be careful . was In the Walmart when it opened (good time to observe people ) and had some interesting young people show up. The one good restaurant was closed so went to others that weren't very good . Went to the museum in DuBois and then moved on . Nice scenery that never changes .

If someone in WY is concerned about the changes why not get on the local city council, school board or other civic organization?

Yet we have FL. Seems red state Governors need to war game with DeSantis’ team and figure out the secret sauce. Throw in TN and OK as well.

What can be done is to go after the crimes these invaders commit. Graffiti on churches is a hate crime. Shop lifters should be prosecuted to the fullest extent and then some. Sex with animals is a crime.
It needs t be done while the law enforcement is still on people's side, and not serving the criminals. People should demand it, and help with identifying the criminals. |

Is local law enforcement compromised ?, Sometimes wonder about our law enforcement here, they pursue very little crime wise . Just conjecture but the allure of big money might turn a few to the dark side, the smart ones don't spend the money locally . Drug trade, gambling and use have brought many down . Not talking slipping a$ 20..for speeding but heavy involvement in drug trade and protection there of.

It's being tracked pretty closely by a number of sources. The Republican registered voter base is growing at a rate two to three times that of the Dems. Yea, before someone trots out that stupid "a California conservative is an Idaho liberal", I know a fair number of these people, they came here vowing to never let what happened in their home state happen here. From a May 2022 article in The Guardian, "Republican and more Republican: Idaho Shifts Ever Rightward". It's a long article, and short on actual numbers, but multiple studies continue to bear it out. "This is a trend that has been called “right flight” as conservatives pour into Idaho from liberal, racially diverse states. It could be seen as part of the grand sorting of American national politics as liberals move to places where they will find like minds and conservatives do likewise, meaning that blue states turn bluer and red states turn redder. Stephanie Witt, director of the Applied Research Center at Boise State University, said: “The newcomers aren’t liberals.
