Everyone keeps talking about how LeBronze teammates are trash.  He's the one that wanted Cleveland to trade for Kevin Love and he's the one who ran off their other all-Star Kyrie Irving.

He's also the one earlier in the year putting pressure on the team to make trades because he didn't think they were good enough to win it all.  Lebron has been the defacto GM in Cleveland for 4 years.

Dude has 6 Finals loses even after trying his best to create super teams in Miami and Cleveland.  He owns it.  He isn't some kind of innocent victim.
Hard to argue with this.
It's flat wrong. LeBron did not want Gilbert to OK the Irving trade. He wanted Irving to stay. LeBron went to Cleveland to play with Irving.

If LeBron won't play with good players, what was the whole Miami thing about? If he's a shitty defacto GM, why does he have three championships?

Love is 45% at the Jump hook 3-10 ft (32 for 71) in 2017-2018. Not well  below. Definitely a viable option.

In that same season, I counted 8 other teams that had 2nd options better than Pippen. https://www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_1993_per_game.html

Pippen may be an all around great player, great 2nd fiddle, but he's not an elite scorer. That title is reserved for a few each year.

Yes, and Love is well below 50% shooting when he's backing people down in the post. He sucks at it. Creating your own shitty shot doesn't help your team.

27th in scoring is high for any second-option player. (Love is 37th this year.) There are only so many possessions in a game. Jordan shot almost 23 times per game with those Bulls teams. That leaves maybe 75 possessions for everyone else's shots and everybody's turnovers, fouls, shot clock violations, etc. How much over 20 are you expecting Pippen to score? Trying to argue Pippen is not an elite-level player is just silly. He's an all-time great second fiddle, maybe the best ever. Are you trying to argue that Jordan's championship teams are comparable to the teams LeBron has lost in the finals with? I'm not sure I'm seeing your point.

A 45% two-pointer is a shitty shot in today's NBA. Love sucks on the block. The difference between 45% and 50% on twos is over eight points per game for Cleveland. That's a big deal. It is "well below." Two point shots below 50% should not be taken.  The more a team takes, the more likely it is to lose. That's why Love sucks backing people down  on the block. The more often he shoots from there, the worse off Cleveland is. The Cav's team two-point percentage is 56.9%. Acceptable shooting percentages have come up since MJ's day. Advanced metrics have really changed the understanding of efficiency and what makes a good shot. We now have fewer twos, more threes, and fewer possessions. You have to make them count.

Because GS has 4 elite scorers, and a coach that isn’t a sock puppet.

GS is also better than any team Jordan beat in the finals by a mile. Hell, the San Antonio team that choked away beating LeBron in the finals was better than any team Jordan beat in the finals.

What would you call the 64-18 2015-16 Sonics team that the Bulls beat in 6?

Gary Payton
Nate McMillan
Detlef Schrempf
Sean Kemp
Ervin Johnson

And Sam Perkins as the sixth man.

That was an excellent team and the Bulls worked them over.  Probably the toughest defensive backcourt duo ever.  Two all star forwards and one of the best 3 point shooting PFs in history.

On the bench they had Hawkins, Snow, Askew, Windgate, Ford and The Brick.  They were stacked and coached by George Karl.

They would have beaten the Heat and the Spurs teams of the year you mention.  To say MJ's teams didn't beat any hard teams is BS.  I hated them, but they dominated some damned good teams.

You guys are debating over something that will never be resolved.  One thing you can compare between LeBron and Jordan is how they act on the court.  Even my 7yo daughter notices how often LeBron cries and complains when a call doesn't go his way.  Just yesterday, there were four straight series where he complained after each transition.  Once he compained, and as he was doing so, he missed an opportunity to simply block a shot.  He has very little professional decorum on the court when things don't go his way.  You didn't see Jordan act like that.  That's one reason why people found him so appealing.

12 pages of Lebron hate, it really has to be love and not Kevin Love

I hear a lot about how the whole league is better now than it was in the late 80s/90s. People post shit about how MJ played against a bunch of plumbers. If that's true, why is the FG% lower now than it was in Jordan's time? The higher total scoring is basically due to jacking up twice as many 3s and playing the percentages. Can't say defense is better now because there's no shot blockers on the all time list playing recently except Howard (and why Lebron has such an easy time with dunks and layups).

Another thing LeBron is the GOAT at is crying to the refs, no doubt.

He’s still better on the court overall than MJ, and has done more with less.  I love that you want to turn this Cavs team into some kind of super team. That’s next level stuff. OMG Kevin Love is better than Scottie Pippin! LOL. Holy defensive liability, Batman...

Did Jordan ever go join a top 5 scorer like Lebron did in 2010-11?

When did Jordan ever have a 2nd option guy with 25ppg like Kyrie? Or a 3rd option avg 18-19ppg like Love or 16-18ppg Bosh? Despite all that help in 2011, Lebron still couldn't beat Dirk and a bunch of no-names.

Yet all I hear about is how Lebron's teammates suck. Other than Pippen, Jordan had Horace Grant who averaged 11ppg, BJ Armstrong who averaged 10ppg, and Toni Kukoc who averaged 12ppg.

And if Pippen was so good, why did he average at best 13ppg when he went to Portland? Because f'in Jordan elevated him, that's why.

Well pippen was also old... and wade was far from his peak.  That Miami team was good, no doubt. But the Bulls were better, especially on defense (excluding MJ/LBJ).

What’s next? Going to tell me Tristan’s better than Rodman?

I heard an interview with James on the radio this morning.
He did nothing but throw Cleaveland under the bus saying that GS had better players and they were playing like a Championship team.
He fucking dissed his own team and basically said he has given up on the Cavs.

Douchebag to the highest degree.
His play tonight is like he is throwing the game.

Fuck Lebron James, there is no TEAM in that guy.

Cavs are getting SMOKED with just over 6 minutes left, down 25 points.

LOL

I'm probably not worth arguing for a basketball superfan, but from a guy who rooted the Sonics and saw Jordan rip us up: he is still the best. He has a truly indomitable will. It would be the same in the 90s and now.

6 Finals loses.  You don't get to be the GOAT by making excuses as to why other teams were better than your team.

To be the greatest you have to win.  Lebron tried to win cheap rings by forming another super team in Cleveland but Durant out-Lebroned him and signed in Golden State.

I also found it laughable that 30 seconds after the game Lebron had a cast on his hand.  He is a passive-aggressive excuse factory.

All I ever needed to know about Lebron James happened in a preseason game his first year in the league.  The Cavs came to Rochester, NY to play a preseason game.
(Rochester was the home of the Royals in the late 1940's.  Now the Sacramento Kings. )  The arena sold out because everyone wanted to see LeBron play.  It was expected that he would only get a few minutes, but people wanted to see him play.

In the second half, he went over the the scorer's table and took off his sweats and sat there for a few minutes while the crowd stated get pumped up.  Then he put his sweats back on and went back to the bench.  Asshole then, asshole now.
