I sent my ballot in last Saturday for Tim Knight and Adam Kraut. I noticed that their bios in Shooting Illustrated had a little bit of free advertising for ARFCOM.

Voted for Knight, Kraut, and Liptak.  Will go out on Monday morning.

I also emailed non-ARF family/friends who are voting members encouraging them to vote for those three.

Funny, I read their BIOs and darkened the circle for these 3.  Then came to ARFCOM to find this thread to see who we were supporting.  Guess I didn't need this thread after all.

Great work gents.

I voted for 5, but only added 2 because I know the two Oregon folks personally. Lol, growing up, I used to (redacted) with Nosler's daughter.

Titus
Kraut
Liptak
Nosler
Knight

I didn't write in anyone. Is there someone I should support before I pop it in the mail?

My American Rifleman arrived with the ballot.

Let's do this correctly.

Voted for Tim and Adam.

Make sure you tape your envelopes.

LeToilet and Douche pulled a Costanza and used the cheapest envelopes they could find.  I think mine would've sealed better with just regular spit.

Yeah, when my step-dad figured out what was going on, he told me what her dad did for a living, and I'd better watch myself.

Of course, I was 16, she was 15, and we lived about 100yds from each other. I'll stop there.

I received my ballot this morning, and voted the Arfcom line this afternoon.  It will go out with the morning mail.

These envelopes really are cheap.  Why do they make the ballot the same size as the envelope?  There's some real fucking geniuses working there.

Tag? I think that's what he meant.

Im bumping this thread and also throwing my support behind Tim and Adam.

They deserve our votes.  They stand for what we stand for and want to improve the NRA for us. They deserve all our support, in my opinion.

Liptak
Kraut
Knight

I also voted for Ronnie Barrett. I feel he is on our side, manufactures AR-15s, and developed the 416Barrett as a big Fuck You Kalifornia when they banned 50BMG, and refused to return city/state firearms when sent in for service.

There is also a rumor he is the only person to... Well, just click the link below.

About 2 minutes. Should start at 0:58:59

There are eight women on this year's ballot. Six of them are first-time candidates. Four responded to a questionnaire by Women's Outdoor News. One question was: "What does the Second Amendment mean to you, and why is it important to you to protect and preserve this part of the Bill of Rights?" Based on their responses I will probably vote for Golob and Lightfoot (in addition to Kraut, Knight, and Liptak). Kristy Titus is probably a shoe-in. I am underwhelmed by Il Ling New's response. Here are some excerpts from Golob's and Lightfoot's responses:

Julie Golob
Those who understand what freedom is know that, to truly be free, you must also have the right to defend freedom ... Arms and specifically firearms are the ultimate American tools. Not only do we use them for protection, hunting and recreation, they are our line of defense against any and all that would deny us the most basic rights.

Carrie Lightfoot
Any restrictions placed on the law-abiding citizen that limits their ability, in any way to protect themselves is very concerning and not acceptable to me. What is most important to me at this time is the assault that is taking place on these rights. The rights that the Bill of Rights secure, are not “given” to us by the government, nor is the government “allowing” us to have them.

Me too. I'm guessing it has something to do to prevent some sort of easily done fraud.

Envelope is worthless.

First time I've voted for a NRA board in years.

It makes it more difficult for an automatic system to mark certain people on the ballots?

My envelope is sealed - at least as well as that crap-tastic glue allows. It will go in the mail when I get my state taxes sent.

By who?  I'm betting the people Wayne wants in are in with a couple of decoys to convince you that your votes count.

The ballot and vote counting is done by a reputable consulting firm.

This is specifically to avoid any conflict of interest by removing Wayne and other NRA people from the process.

It's to give candidates a roughly equal chance of being selected at random. If you had the same 10 candidates first on the list in every version, they would get more votes just by virtue of being at the top of the list.
