I don't need anything fancy other than a clean ass.  Been using a Biffy since early covid.  It's wand broke in 2.  Could replace with another, but pretty sure it was the new toilet seat that did in the wand, and a new one will not fair much better.

So far I have seen mostly references to neo's.  I don't have hot water to plumb into it, nor do I have a GFI outlet handy.  Any others that have the ar15.com seal of approval?

I have that Kohler one on of my toilets and it is nice but the lid won't stay up sometimes. Might just be my toilet tank design.

I also have this one, I think its better for the money:

I like the pushbutton one.
Frequently see it on sale for $20-25, but it's $30 now.

I love my Brondell listed above, but hate the knob.  Would love to find a different shaped knob (more lever-like) for mine.

I'm guessing you've never used one before.

Go paw at your bottom with some toilet paper until it's "clean," then go work outside in 90° temps for several hours. Then come back in and hit it again with TP and tell me what you see.

I've done the same after coming indoors with total swamp ass, but used a bidet instead of TP, and the TP is 100% clean.

TP only gets most of it off, but the rest just dries there. Until later. If you got shit on your hands, would you wipe it off with a paper towel?

I was actually kind of surprised to see that my local Walmart had a few different bidets on sale there. I hadn't seen them before.

Becoming more mainstream (no pun intended) here.

Amazon Product
  • THE ULTIMATE VALUE \u2013 With a sleek design and high-quality parts, our bidet attachment will give your bathroom a next-level look. Constructed with high-pressure valves with metal-ceramic cores and steel hoses instead of plastic.

These have been great for many years now.   Have had them in multiple houses.  Great for the money, easy install, comes with everything generally to put right in.  I’m pretty sure they were ARF recommended originally is how I found them.

I installed one of these last week. It was stupid easy to install. It seems to work very well.

The pressure is adjustable and seems to go up high enough that it could qualify as "almost enema" on the highest setting.

Buy a travel bidet. Not as nice as being home but better than smearing poop around with paper.

The poors scrub their anus with a ground up tree.

I have the American Standard from Amazon. The install for these (water only) ones is literally ten minutes.

It's insane not to have one anymore.

We've had the Tushy bidets on our toilets since the great ass paper shortage of 2020.

Has been great but certainly doesn't cut down on TP usage for my hairy ass.

Thanks. I had a Toto Washlet at my last house because there was an outlet right next to the toilet, not so much in my new place. That one is on sale for 22 dollars same day delivery! I'm gonna give a cold water wash a whirl. I've been spoiled by heated bidet though.

They need to have changeable tips like a pressure washer has.  Depending on the meal I had the day before sometimes the straight shooter high psi one would be needed when other days the whirly bird one would be better.  and maybe even a low psi soap soaker would be handy too.

Yep. I got one during the COVID TP shortage (wtf was that all about anyway?), thinking I was being clever. It changed my life.

After going back to the office, I sent the wife a text the first time I had to take a shit at work "I had to clean my ass with paper, like some sort of medieval peasant!"

The Biffey uses a wand that rotates out - and sprays up.  Most other's I have seen seem to shoot forward from the back.  The Brondell has an a wand that appears to extend forward a bit - so it will probably be less different than the wands that just extend down.  Have 2 ordered (for the two toilets in the house I use).  New house will have toilets with the bidets built in.

Now I click on it and it's 22.99. Was 29.99 for me when I posted it.
What you get for plumbing is a chrome plated adapter that goes between the flex supply line and the inlet at the bottom of the tank, and a braided stainless hose from there to the control box. Much nicer than my old one with the soft plastic hose that never leaked but always kept me worried.

I installed one of these after COVID.

I thought Wife would have issued a no go on unconditioned water.  She was willing to try it.  Loves it.

The bidet paid for itself in three months in TP savings.

I've been working on getting the kids to use it without turning the bathroom into a waterworks park.  Once they are good I'm going to put one in their bathroom.

Two cold water eco models have been gtg for me going on 4 or 5 years.  Good valves.  Worth the cost for less hassle in the long run.

So clean and dry actually that it often eliminates the need to shower before sex after woking in the summer heat.

They are awesome. And I was opposed to them before I tried it.
