It does, however, make it easier to defend US specific targets. Do yourself a favor and plot out the location of the THAAD units, Guam, and Okinawa, relative to each other and North Korea. Follow the money. 50% of South Korean tourists come from China, and when THAAD was announced, China put a ban on tour groups going there. China swung a big economic stick, and South Korea backed down. I expect we're going to see more of China muscling other countries through economic means....
