Tie Fighters in the Sun. GO EMPIRE! This caught my eye as well. Tie Fighters flying out of the sun....too freakin' cool. Really starting to believe the new Sith dude is really Luke. Too many indicators going off in my head. I hope not. He's not. Kylo Ren is being played by Adam Driver. This is old news that's been around since winter. |

I could see either. However, Episodes 1-6 were about the redemption of Anakin. Could the apple not fall too far from the tree? Remember that feeling when we learned that Vader was Luke's father? Think about the same sort of cliff-hanger, momentum driver for additional episodes if they portray or suggest that Luke is the new Sith Lord and Kylo Ren is his apprentice. Rule of Two. |

Maybe Lea is the evil lord? She was strong in the force but never received training, at least not that we saw. Maybe she gave into the dark side? Much like palpatine played a good guy on the surface but a sith on the side. Plus Vader was her father too. She also wore mask in ROTJ when attempting to rescue Solo.

View Quote There has been talk that the story will basically be the original Star Wars again. This trailer confirms the girl "finds" the ball droid...I bet it has info vital to the Rebels... I hope not, but after seeing Into Darkness, it would not surprise me. What really pisses me off about Into Darkness is that JJ basically had a blank check to do whatever he wanted in that universe and he took the easy route and gave us a rehash of Khan. |

I'm going to see it like twice. .....the first day! I'm going to try to go opening day but I'm sure it's going to be a mad house. I may wait for opening weekend. Before the last trailer debuted on Monday Night Football, a coworker and I told everyone at work we were gonna get tickets when they went on sale that night. They all laughed and called us nerds. The ticket sites crashed and I gave up after 3 hours. Early Tuesday morning we got on Fandago and got tickets after trying for about 30 minutes. Everyone came to work and watched the trailer over the next few hours. By the end of the day, 17 people, almost the entire shift, had gone online and bought tickets for the 8PM showing! I'm not sure what's gonna happen December 17th but it's gonna be fun. |

I think they are misleading people into "luke is the Sith" on purpose. I've seen pics of Mark Hamel with a Jedi beard and robes. I don't doubt there will be a twist as to who the Sith is. Could be somebody's son.

So is Luke going to be a dark Jedi? They haven't shown his face in any of the previews. Maybe Yoda was right about facing Vader and the Emperor before completing his training. I think Luke will be hunted down and eventually killed........I can see him teaching the next generation of Jedi.
If you read the books and if I am not mistaken, Han and Leia have 3 children.......Luke gets married and has a son........the daughter of Han and Leia and the oldest son learn the ways of The force.......the son becomes seduced by the dark side and becomes a Sith Lord eventually killing his aunt(Lukes wife). He eventually sees the error of His ways after a duel with his sister who eventually kills him........I think this movie will get the ball rolling in this direction, the new Sith Lord could be the Son of Leia and Han. |
