Tie Fighters in the Sun. GO EMPIRE! This caught my eye as well. Tie Fighters flying out of the sun....too freakin' cool. Really starting to believe the new Sith dude is really Luke. Too many indicators going off in my head. Difficult to see...always in motion are the clips There are clips that would appear to show the new masked Sith guy doing a sort of Vulcan mind meld grip on his/Luke's face. But it is interesting that Luke does not show up in most of the clips and is not on the one poster I have seen so far |

There's also this audio dialog from the new line of toys. Pretty neat.
The following lines are spoken by Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), followed by my added commentary:
“I feel it too.”: Is he talking about The Force? “You know what I’ve come for.”: Probably Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber? “Together we will destroy the Resistance and the last Jedi.”: Who is he talking to? Captain Phasma? Snoke? Interesting that it seems that Luke Skywalker has not trained another Jedi Knight in the 30 years following Return of the Jedi. “Don’t fight it.”: It appears that Ren is trying to convince someone to join the dark side? Could it be Finn or Rey? “You know you can’t, I am immune to the light.”: I assume he is talking metaphorically about being able to resist the reaches of the force. “We will send it away”: No idea “I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time.”: His first meeting with Luke Skywalker? “Is it true, you’re just a scavenger.” Renn seems disappointed of what Rey has made out of her life. “Don’t be afraid, I feel it too.” “That weapon is mine.”: Possibly Anakin’s lightsaber or maybe a bigger weapon? Just read a cool theory that the new bad guy may be Darth Revan having awakened from some kind of sleep. Though the characters reverence for the melted mask of Vader would not track with this IMHO.

Ezra is 14 at the time of Rebels. ~5 years before the battle of Yavin. The time from the battle of Yavin to ROTJ is 4 years, then 30 more years to TFA. That would make Kylo Ren over 50. Plausible? |

Quoted: Quoted: I think Luke will be hunted down and eventually killed........I can see him teaching the next generation of Jedi. If you read the books and if I am not mistaken, Han and Leia have 3 children.......Luke gets married and has a son........the daughter of Han and Leia and the oldest son learn the ways of The force.......the son becomes seduced by the dark side and becomes a Sith Lord eventually killing his aunt(Lukes wife). He eventually sees the error of His ways after a duel with his sister who eventually kills him........I think this movie will get the ball rolling in this direction, the new Sith Lord could be the Son of Leia and Han. They've already tossed the EU. Which is a good thing. In my opinion, 80% of the EU was crap to "meh" while 10% was good to excellent. As for the remaining 10% the authors should have been euthanized by the publisher as soon as they'd submitted their final draft which then should have been burnt, twice, and never spoken of again. |

There has been talk that the story will basically be the original Star Wars again. This trailer confirms the girl "finds" the ball droid...I bet it has info vital to the Rebels... I hope not, but after seeing Into Darkness, it would not surprise me. What really pisses me off about Into Darkness is that JJ basically had a blank check to do whatever he wanted in that universe and he took the easy route and gave us a rehash of Khan. It makes no sense for Luke to be evil. None.
Han may die, the new characters may be the children of the old, Chewbacca may go bald, Anthony Daniels may stop being a pompous prick, but Luke will always be a Jedi. ...and don't bring up the now defunct EU. The EU sucked. |

If you look at 1:53 then you see the white girl in the woods, at night, with snow, holding the arm of someone in a tan jacket and crying. Looks like Finn may have gotten in over his head trying to take on Kylo Ren. "Hope does not die today, it begins"
My guess...Finn is believed to be the future of the force, the rebels get their butts kicked by the new empire, Finn gets dead...but all along it was a build up to get the white girl to become a Jedi. Finn's death galvanizes her the way Ben's death galvanized Luke. Pure speculation. |

I figured out The Dark Half after the first murder.
I figured out The Sixth Sense as soon as Bruce Willis died. I figured out The Village a week before it's opening (SyFy did a making of promo special, and they showed a shot of a car driving through a field to the set. That was when I figured it out). If I am right, then I will have figured out Star Wars 6 weeks before the movie came out, by using a blurry shot from a Chinese trailer. |

What's the over under on Ahsoka Tano making an appearance? That would be cool but they would have to explain why she wasn't in IV, V and VI. It could be simply explained that after feeling betrayed by the Jedi she went in to hiding, perhaps doing the occasional odd job with Asajj Ventress; remember the premonition she had on the Force Planet in Season 3 of 'Clone Wars', the darkness had been planted within her by her Master... I'd love to see Ahsoka make an appearance in the new movie |

We don't know what's happened since The Return of the Jedi. If the Empire collapsed and fractured into multiple pieces, it's possible that the pace of technology slowed to a crawl. It's also possible that they live in a less dynamic time, where technology improvements aren't moving as quickly. Our current pace of technological evolution is historically rare. Also, think of other Military tech... How many M-48's, T-55's, etc, are still running around the world? |

RLM has two theories on Luke. One is that he is in hiding so the Jedi die out and the other is that he ended up giving in to the Dark Side after Ep 3 (or 6 for you who don't know better).
