Go on….
Depending on how the trigger is, could be a interesting pistol. |
|
Is that an alloy frame, with changeable backstraps ?
Condition one compact 9? If under $600 its on.. |

Size wise, yeah, but Shield and M&P are DAO and hammerless. This looks more like a love child delivered from a threesome with an M&P, Sig P938 and Glock I want one |

So I’ve seen some social media of reviews teasing this pistol. Showing a box but blurring its content.
Some guy on Reddit posted this pic and info. Said he was just a normal gun shop employee. Wonder if it was sent to the shop by mistake. Either way, might be some NDAs being broken. There is zero info on the pistol out so far. |

This could be the first S&W product that has interested me in a long time. I wonder how thick it is…

At this point in time, why are any companies bringing out new designs that don't incorporate a slide cut for an optic?

Does that person have really tiny hands or is that thing really fucking big for being a 10rd 9mm?

The compact doesn't fit comfortably in my hand, and something halfway between the M&P and the Compact would be great. |

Very interesting. Grip looks really thick?
Is it single stack? |

Its like they seen SA was making a hipower and wanted to make an uglier more "modern" version.

So more or less a S&W XD-E?
My buddy is going to be thrilled. |

Sort of looks like Springfield and S&W are finally realizing that there is a market for hammer fired guns. I've had a dozen striker fired guns and currently own none. I don't like their triggers and they don't like my reloads. If it doesn't have a hammer then I'm not interested.

A smith rep at my shop recently told me (and I have no idea as to the veracity of the claim, he came off as a retard) that they only did the optic ready shield plus because they saw how well the Ruger max 9 was doing. Said they take a lot of cues from Ruger on what to offer. Since both are massive volume public companies that does make a little sense.
I am very intrigued by this new offering, as I have rediscovered 1911s and would like a carry piece with that manual of arms that doesn't cost staccato or Wilson money. |

Looks like a Kimber Micro 9 got crossed with a Springfield XDE.
I don’t hate it, but I don’t see a need for its existence |
|
I hope it is compatible with Shield Plus mags.
Cross-compatibility across models is a good thing. |
|
Really wish they would fix that false reset that some of their semi autos seem to have.
|
|
Kinda interesting. Grip looks slick as fuck on the sides. But I guess talon will make some tape for it.

Meh not great looking. Should make smaller DA/SA style carry guns to compete with the Shield Plus and Glock 43x and Sig 365 and so forth. If they could do a Walther P99 DA/SA style gun, but Shield Plus size, that would be great.
