Semi-serious question: What would that mean to the US military? Would both sides immediately declare war on the other?

kek, as if either side could live without the other. Y'all in it for the long haul now.

We'll be damned if we let the commies steal a significant percentage of this nation. Balkanization is what the commies want. The true path is to take this country back and throw all the commies out of a helicopter, in minecraft. |

It needs to happen. It's pointless to try to "fix" the federal government. |

Eh……I mean what is DeSantis going to make it a Felony to be a Democrat in the state of Florida and give them 30 days to move out of the state, or get removed by force? God I wish

When you have 550 career politicians making major decisions for a country our size...something is going to break sooner or later.

If you’ve talked poorly about Texas on the net, start scrubbing your post history now

It’s almost like the federal government pissing all over federalist principles are encouraging Balkanization. If only anyone could have predicted such a turn of events…

Of course civil war is inevitable, liberals simply have no tolerance for anyone not worshipping the altar of degenerate liberalism.

Quoted: Semi-serious question: What would that mean to the US military? Would both sides immediately declare war on the other? View Quote The US military isn't like the military of old where units were all rather local. Folks are moved around and spread through different units from all over the country. The legally correct answer is "The President is still the Commander in Chief of US armed forces." |

The northeast lol and west coast?
There are ports in the south California’s water ? Where does it come from? Northeast gonna produce enough food. ? With a little ingenuity and determination those areas could be crippled. |

66% of Replicans and 50% of independents in the south?
That honestly is high enough, that people could successfully run for office in those states on a secession ticket. |

View Quote I'll be very interested to hear what Allen West has to say about it. You know, the guy who basically threatened it after the stolen election, and who is now running for governor of the state of Texas... I suspect someone will ask him about it at some point. |

Quoted: You have to think long term . The country didn’t fuck itself up in 2 years , it’s gonna take a long time to fix it . So if we got some secession and got some states fixed up , by then , the communist states would be all kinds of fucked up and we invade them and take over . The states most likely to secede- red states- have populations with no love for the feds and the woke commie morons running wild in the blue states. Also happens that most of the fossil fuels and food farming and ranching is located in the red states. If secession actually goes down, we can withhold fuel and food to starve the blue states and fuck up their economies. When they are weakened and hungry we can move in and retake them and push the woke commie fucktards into the sea. They are too dangerous to be allowed to live in the nation among us- they gotta go. |

Just snap off the west coast, cut some corridor port deals with Mex & Can, and we got it from there.
Finalize the deal; then the good ol boys will start sending arms & ammo over the new border, and push the garbage right off into the Pacific. I think there’s enough Red to get it done. Once they take the trash out, we’ll talk about a seat at the big boy table again. Hawaii is an acceptable loss.... maybe sell to Japan?? |

I am in New York. If there is a secession, I will be behind the iron curtain and I suspect New York would even move fast to put up a wall like the Soviet Union had in Eastern Europe. No one is escaping AFTER the secession happens.

Quoted: Quoted: A house divided against itself cannot stand. We cannot continue half socialist and half free. I believe this is the goal. Except that today's democrats want the whole house and are such a bunch of prudes and stiffs they'll pull an inquisition so that they won't have to live around anyone not like them. I don't think they the slightest idea how hard they are making themselves to live with. The fools probably still think they can destroy people not like them and those people would thank them for being "enlightened." |

I'd thought about it a bit... Right leaning states/people, the people who want to follow the US Constitution, shouldn't secede from the US.
We should kick others out. The lefties hate the Constitution so much, they should leave so they can start over and implement whatever disaster they want. |

Quoted: Didn't some folks try that already? Back in 1861. View Quote Well, according to Very Smart People... the US Civil War wasn't about the Southern states seceding and wanting to do their own thing. It was about slavery, ending slavery and only ending slavery. People didn't give a fuck about the Southern states wanting to do their own thing, and would have been fine with it if not for all the slavery. |

The South will build a wall to keep everyone out. Or, I hope so.

Quoted: This was always the way it was supposed to be. Obviously that's not the case. If we could actually go back to this, then I don't think that anyone would be talking about secession. But we're never going back to that, so here we are. View Quote Of course, but that's my point. Almost every change we've made to the constitution to make it "better", has made our country objectively worse off. And now with the power the fedgov wields, you can't just move to a better state. |

Quoted: More like urban vs rural. View Quote If the Federal govt. Does somehow collapse like the former Soviet Union, the reformation into new balkanized territories won't look anything at all like the states do now. Especially because the coasts are vital to economic survival. The problem is that there is any kind of federal government at all. |
