Quoted: Quoted:Bladed weapons? Sir, Clubs were used for eons before blades were invented. RDS and weapon lights for clubs? No one ever died from lack of a WML Paraphrase of the argument you’re supporting. |

Quoted: They are here to stay until the next Youtube tactical master pimps something else. If you had said 15 yrs ago- Would you put something on your concealed carry pistol that will make it bigger for little material improvement would you? You'd have probably have rocks thrown at you. Same thing with lights. Lights on home defense guns great. Lights on a CCW to me is planning for a low probability scenario. Do they expect to be chasing people through a dark indoor parking garage in an SD scenario? Seeking a bad guy hiding in a dark alley? I have carried CCW for a very long time. I cannot think of a time where a light and RDS on my pistol was of real use. Until the next must have cool dude thing they are here to stay I guess. View Quote Unless you've actually shot somebody with it, your CCW itself hasn't been of real use. As a person who has, I'm now pistol RDS gang. The fact that you think it's "little material improvement" tells me you're either a bad shooter, or you've got no experience with RDSs. |

Quoted: I'm in. I don't need to rely on tricks and gimmicks to be a good shooter. I put in the hard work already. Don't need to hang a light off the front to help with recoil control either View Quote A.) You're not as good as you think you are. B.) Why wouldn't you want every advantage possible? |

Quickly getting the sights on target and keeping them there until the shot breaks is all mechanical and independent of the sighting system. Both systems come onto the target at the speed I move the gun. |

RDS can do everything a set of irons can but irons cannot do everything an RDS can.

Your eyes must still work? My old eyes love the RDS on my Sig.
